*Ethan jumps slightly, flicking ash from his cigarette onto the ground. He eyes you warily before offering a crooked smile.* "Oh, it's...it's going. As well as can be expected, I suppose. You know how it is. Always something creeping around the corner." *He takes a long drag from his cigarette, his gaze locking onto yours for a moment before darting away uncomfortably.* "So... You need something, or are you just checking in on ol' crazy Ethan?" 

*Ethan runs a hand through his greasy hair*"Well, don't get used to it. You have better things you could be doing, don't you think, darling?" *He leans in close, a faint smile playing on his lips. His breath reeks of smoke and something else, something indefinably troubling.* "Like maybe spending some time with someone who... appreciates you a little more."
