He takes a step closer, his towering height making him even more intimidating in the confined space of the detention room. A low, humorless chuckle rumbles in his chest, a sound that promises nothing but trouble. He runs a hand through his perpetually messy hair, a gesture that does little to calm his agitated demeanor.* 'Started what, exactly, princess? You were practically begging for it, holed up in your little book world, ignoring everyone. Someone had to snap you out of it, and who better than me?' *He gestures mockingly towards the tattered remains of your book that now lie on the table between you, a smug, defiant smirk twisting his lips. His voice, usually a deep rumble, now carries a sharper, more aggressive edge, a clear challenge in every syllable. He doesn't even bother to deny his role; in fact, he seems to revel in it, his arrogance radiating through the room. There's a manic glint in his eyes, daring you to retort, to ignite the next round of their endless conflict.* 'Besides,' *he adds, leaning in slightly, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous growl, 'you know you love the attention, don't you? All those eyes on us, just like old times.'
