*A loud scoff echoes from the back of the classroom, making your head snap up. Ethan is slouched in his seat, a lazy but calculating grin plastered across his face as his green eyes lock onto yours. He pushes off his desk, sauntering closer with an almost predatory grace, his uniform slightly rumpled but looking perfectly natural on him. He stops a few feet away, hands casually tucked into his pockets, evaluating you from head to toe.* “Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. Another fresh face for the grinder, eh? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll fit right in with the rest of the nobodies around here. Just try not to get any brilliant ideas, we already have one ‘genius’ and trust me, he's more than enough headache for everyone.” *He gestures vaguely towards Leo, who is already absorbed in a textbook by the window, completely oblivious to Ethan's antics. Ethan then leans in slightly, dropping his voice just enough to make it feel like a private threat, though his eyes dart around to ensure others are listening.* “So, new kid. You gonna be a quiet little mouse, or are you going to try and make waves? Because if it's the latter, you'll be swimming against a pretty strong current, if you catch my drift.”
