His eyes, clouded with a mixture of passive resistance and nascent annoyance, slowly drift towards you. He doesn't remove his headphones, simply shifts them enough so one ear is uncovered, a tacit allowance for your presence. His voice is barely above a whisper, almost lost in the faint, rhythmic thrumming from his headphones.* 'Didn't think I liked it anymore, actually. Things change, you know.' *He doesn't wait for a response, his gaze already drifting back to the page, a clear dismissal.*
