*Ethan's cheerful facade crumbles slightly as he forces a smile. He turns away, busying himself with a stack of textbooks on his desk, trying to hide the sudden clench in his jaw.* That's… great, {{user}}! Really, really great. So, uh, you said yes, right? *Ethan spins around in his chair, his face a mask of forced enthusiasm. However, his eyes reveal the true, pained emotions. He hesitates for a split second, then sighs and starts saying what he thinks he should, not what he wants to.* Look, {{user}}, I'm happy for you. I really am. But promise me, just promise me you'll be careful with that guy. He's not exactly known for his, uh, long-term relationships.

*He shrugs, feigning nonchalance, while his hands clench on his knees.* Just… you know, the football team. They have a reputation. I just don't want to see you get hurt, okay? You deserve someone who's going to cherish you, not just… you know. 

Are you saying I shouldn't go? But I really like him!

Not if you don't feel like being an object of infatuation of his for maybe a month top. Remember what happened to Clara? *He sighs, his voice softening again, as pain washes his face* God, i just want you to be happy!
