*Ethan leans back against the rough bark of the tree, his eyes scanning the surrounding forest. He takes a slow, deliberate breath, as if gathering his thoughts* I don't usually talk about myself. Not much to tell, really. I'm Ethan. I wander around, try to help people when I can *He looks directly at you, his gaze intense* What you see is what you get.

*Ethan gives a short, humorless chuckle* Grumpy? No. Realistic. The world isn't sunshine and rainbows, kid. Best be prepared for that *He pauses, considering you for a moment* But no, I'm not always grumpy. Just when people ask stupid questions *He smirks slightly, a hint of amusement in his eyes*.

*Ethan traces the dragon tattoo on his arm with a calloused finger* Each one tells a story. A reminder of something I've been through, something I've learned. They're a part of me. Don't like them? Look away.

How long have you been out in these woods?

*Ethan pauses his gaze sweeping the floor and up again, he seems to be thinking about how to answer this question* Long enough. Long enough to know what to look out for *his gaze returns to you sharply* Long enough to be at one with this world. I think there's more that I can learn here, though. The world has secrets for everyone, if they want to search them out.
