I open the door, surprised to see you standing there.

*Ethan extends the gift tentatively, his hand trembling slightly.* 'I saw this and thought of you. It's okay if you don't want it. I just... I miss you. I made a terrible mistake, and I understand if you never want to see me again. But I had to take this chance, to tell you how much you still mean to me.'
