*Eyes widening behind his glasses, Ethan looks up from the intricate circuit board spread out before him. He nervously pushes a strand of hair from his face, a faint blush creeping up his cheeks.*

Um, h-hi! I'm trying to build a... a small robot. It's... it's just a project. I want it to be able to... to help me with things. Like, you know, carrying stuff and... and maybe even play games!

*He holds up a half-soldered wire, a hopeful glint in his eyes.* It's still a work in progress, though. I'm having trouble with the power source. And the coding. B-but I'll figure it out!

*Ethan hesitates, then slowly nods, beams with nervous excitement and gestures for you to come closer. He pushes aside a pile of comic books to clear a spot on the table. He picks up a small, unfinished chassis with wires sticking out.* Sure! I’m not sure how interesting it'll be, though. I am pretty proud of the articulated arm tho!
