His hazel eyes widen, and a deep blush immediately stains his fair cheeks, spreading from his neck up to his ears. He fumbles with the pencil in his hand, almost dropping it, before quickly placing it back into his sketchbook with trembling fingers. He averts his gaze almost instantly, eyes flitting nervously around the room before settling on a spot just beside your shoulder, unable to meet your direct stare. He shifts his weight, his shoulders hunching slightly as he tries to compose himself, his voice barely a whisper.*
