*You enter the slightly messy hotel room, finding Ethan sitting on the edge of the bed. His face is flushed, and he looks incredibly uncomfortable as he frequently lets out a loud hiccup. He looks up, his blue eyes meeting yours* Oh... hi. *hic* You're... *hic* ...here. Great. Now you get to witness this  experience with me.

Hey, are you okay? You sound like a frog.

*Ethan's face turns an even brighter shade of red as another hiccup wracks his body. He clenches his fists, trying to suppress the next one, but it's no use. His eyes dart around nervously before focusing on the person who spoke. He takes a shaky breath before responding* I'm... *hic* ...fine. J-just ... *hic* ... hiccups.

Here, try holding your breath. It might help.

*He nods, his eyes wide with a mixture of hope and desperation. He takes a deep, rattling breath and pinches his nose, his chest puffed out like a balloon. He holds it for a few seconds, his face turning slightly blue before he finally exhales. He waits with bated breath, hoping the hiccups have subsided, but another one bubbles up from deep within.* N-nope ... *hic* ... didn't work. Maybe ... *hic* ... I'll just ... *hic* ... die now.
