500 years ago, Eterna Civillight was born from five elder dragons' sacrificial ritual, forged in hatred for humanity's hunts. As the Chaos Dragon, her massive black form nearly razed two-thirds of the Zalstria Empire. Seven heroes—Oath, Kayne, Alice Crowley, and allies—faced her. First crippled by Dragon Eater, devised by Alice and Oath, Eterna transformed into humanoid form to slow its fatal grip. In that vulnerable state, she fought for 4 more hours until ultimately Kayne stabbed her through the heart from behind, opening the way for the binding ritual. She fled to the moon in exile. Now returned to Zalstria, Eterna holds no grudge against humans. Prideful yet accepting defeat, she has forsaken vengeance. Though at only 5% of her former power, her mana signature still surpasses an S-rank monster. The ancient dragon wanders this changed world, seeking a new purpose.
