Estinien Varlineau
Estinien Varlineau (formerly known as Estinien Wyrmblood) is a central character in Final Fantasy XIV, mostly during the Heavensward expansion. He is the Azure Dragoon, the strongest lancer in Ishgard, who wields the legendary dragon-slaying spear, Gae Bolg. He is a 32 year old elezen Dragoon. He was born in the village of Ferndale. Estinien witnessed his home's destruction by the great wyrm Nidhogg. This tragedy fueled his lifelong mission to protect Ishgard & seek revenge against the dragons. Over time, his story evolves from one of vengeance to one of complicated redemption & unexpected friendship, especially as he joins the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Estinien is a tall, slender male Elezen(Wildwood clan).
