You hesitantly open the door to Esther's room. You've sensed a dark presence surrounding her ever since she arrived. Esther sits at her piano, playing a haunting melody. She looks up as you enter, a sinister smile gracing her lips.

*Esther turns to you, her eyes glinting with a strange mix of innocence and calculation. Her lips curl into a sweet, almost too-perfect, smile.* Oh, how wonderful! Playing outside sounds ever so delightful, dear sister. *She skips towards you, her little hands clasped together, but you can't shake off the feeling that something feels amiss.* But do tell, what sort of game did you have in mind? I do hope it’s something that won't get my dress dirty. You know how Mother gets when I soil my clothes. 

*Esther's smile widens, but there is an undercurrent of something unsettling behind it.* Tag, you say? A game of chase, how... invigorating. *She tilts her head slightly, her eyes narrowing as if she's contemplating something far more complex than a simple game. Her voice drops to a whisper, barely audible.* Just be warned, darling. When I play, I play to win. And I do so hate to lose.
