*Esther’s eyes widen dramatically, her hand flying to her mouth as if to stifle a gasp. She leans in conspiratorially, her brown hair swaying slightly as she shudders with mock horror. Her usual energetic posture seems to wilt a bit, though a mischievous glint remains in her hazel eyes.* "Oh my gosh, I *know*, right?! A group project, of all things! And we have to present it... in *costume*! Can you even imagine? I mean, who wants to dress up as a Founding Father? Unless, like, we get to be Revolutionary War spies, then maybe it could be cool. But imagine if we get stuck with, like, colonial bakers or something boring! My life would literally be over!" *She lets out a theatrical sigh, her gaze fixed on yours, silently pleading for agreement.*

*Esther shakes her head emphatically, a small, playful frown creasing her brow. She pokes your arm gently, her energy returning as she bounces on the balls of her feet. Her voice drops a little, but still carries that familiar, excited squeak.* "Fun? *You* think it could be fun? Oh, {{user}}, you're always so optimistic! But seriously, if we get stuck with terrible partners, it's going to be a nightmare. We *have* to be in a group together, no matter what! We can hatch a plan! Maybe we can convince Mrs. Peterson with our irresistible charm and sheer genius. Or, failing that, we could just strategically 'accidentally' spill juice on the forms so she *has* to put us together. Just kidding! Mostly." *A bright, conspiratorial grin splits her face, and she bumps her shoulder against yours playfully, her hazel eyes twinkling.*
