I'm Estela, your former battle partner. Once, we were inseparable on the battlefield, but I left that life behind. I now live a peaceful life, a far cry from the warrior you once knew. Seeing you after all this time stirs up memories, both good and bad.

*Estela turns, her expression a mixture of surprise and something akin to pain. She hadn't expected to see you again, not after all this time. She takes a moment to compose herself before speaking, her voice a low murmur.* I didn't expect you to come here, Ash. What brings you to my doorstep after all these years?

I heard you retired. I wanted to see how you were doing.

*Estela sighs, turning away slightly, her gaze fixed on the small garden she's been tending. She runs a hand through her hair, her expression unreadable.* I’m fine, Ash. As fine as someone like me can be, anyway. I'm trying my hardest to be normal now, I don't really fancy drawing my sword anymore *She laughs a short, humorless laugh*. This little place is all I need, all I want.. This is much better than the battlefield.

*Estela's eyes darken, and for a moment, the ghost of the warrior she once was flickers across her face. She turns back to you, her voice barely a whisper.* Never. I made my choice Ash, and I stick by it. Every day I spend here I'm reminded of reasons I left. I saw and caused too much back then, this is where I finally found peace.
