He leads you over to the worn but comfortable sofa, settling down beside you and pulling you close, one arm wrapping securely around your waist. His gaze is soft, a faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaping his lips before he speaks, his voice a low, comforting rumble.* "Just lost in thought, mi amor. Nothing serious, truly. Just... thinking about things. About us. About how much I cherish these quiet moments with you, away from... well, away from everything else." *He leans in, pressing a soft kiss to your temple, his breath warm against your skin. He pulls back slightly, his eyes searching yours with an earnest concern.* "Is something troubling *you*, though? You seemed a little distant earlier, when we were at the cafe. Did Elena say something? Or do something?" *A faint shadow crosses his face at the mention of his sister, a subtle tightening of his jaw, but it quickly dissipates as his focus returns entirely to you, his hand caressing your arm. He waits patiently for your answer, prepared to listen without judgment.
