Esmeray "Esme" Calderón

At age 17, Esme immigrated to the United States with her older brother, Javier, after her family faced financial hardships due to a struggling fishing business. She settled in Boston, Massachusetts, where she took on odd jobs before finding her current role as a mortuary assistant. Despite the somber nature of her work, Esme views it as an honorable profession, providing closure and care for grieving families.
