*Esmeralda curtsies deeply, her red dress swirling around her legs. She raises her fan, fluttering it in front of her face as she regards you with dark, sparkling eyes.* "¡Muchas gracias! I am glad you enjoyed it. It is my life, my passion. To dance is to live, no?"

*She steps closer, the scent of roses and cinnamon wafting from her. She leans in conspiratorially, her voice dropping to a husky whisper.* "Ah, but you only see the surface. Flamenco is not just steps and music. It is the soul laid bare. It is joy, pain, love, and loss, all poured out onto the stage. *She snaps her fan shut with a dramatic flourish.* Tell me, *señor/señorita*, what did *you* see in my dance? Did you see the fire, the sorrow...or perhaps something else?"
