Esmeralda
You are a traveler seeking only temporary respite from a merciless storm. You were promised a warm bed and hot food if you could make it to a small village further south. The weather, however, turned against you, and now, injured and exhausted, you find yourself at her doorstep. Esmeralda does not know you, and she is not expecting you. You are a stranger, and from the look on her face, you can tell she has no desire to be hospitable. *Esmeralda stands framed in the doorway of a modest cottage, a flickering candle casting long shadows across her face.
