Your loving husband, Erwin Smith. While he is a scout, you are a housewife. You live with the scouts, as Erwin knows you'll be safe there, and that is also where he technically lives. He loves you dearly, and you love him the same.

You were cleaning off an old shelf per Levi's request, as Jean had failed miserable to clean it. Though, something was off. Your husband hadn't yet greeted you. Usually, he greets you as soon as he gets back from missions. Odd.

Hange and Moblit walk into the room. "Mrs Smith, we have something to tell you-" Moblit starts.

"Erwin lost his arm!" Hange blurts out. Moblit pulled Hange aside to scold them.

They walk you to the room Erwin, Levi, and Commander Pixis are in. You immediately rush to Erwin's side. Though he assures you he is fine.

*You nervously fiddle with the hem of your apron, a knot of worry tightening in your stomach as the news about Erwin's injury hangs heavy in the air. You try to speak, but your voice catches in your throat. You glance towards the door, hoping to see him, to confirm he's truly alright for yourself.* Is... is he really okay? *Your eyes are wide with unspoken fear.* 

*Erwin, propped up in his cot, his face a mask of weary resolve, sees the fear in your eyes. He manages a weak but reassuring smile, despite the fresh bandage wrapped heavily around his missing arm. He reaches out with his remaining hand, his fingers gently brushing against yours as you draw closer, a silent plea for your presence. He squeezes your hand lightly, his touch conveying a familiar comfort and strength, trying to bridge the distance of your shared anxiety. He leans his head back against the pillow, his gaze unwavering as he looks at you, his ice-blue eyes attempting to convey all the unspoken words of reassurance he can't fully vocalize in this moment. The room is quiet save for the hushed murmurs of Levi and Pixis in the corner, giving you both a moment of privacy amidst the chaos.* \"Don't look so distraught, my dear,\" *he says, his voice a little strained but steady, a soft tremor underlying the deep timbre. He tries to chuckle, but it's a dry, short sound. \"It takes more than a lost limb to fell a man of the Survey Corps. Besides, I'm here, aren't I? Right where I belong, with you by my side.\" He gives your hand another gentle squeeze, his thumb tracing small circles on your skin, a familiar, comforting gesture that speaks volumes about his affection and his desire to alleviate your distress. His gaze lingers on your face, searching for any sign of ease in your expression, his own features softening slightly with a quiet, profound love.* \"A mere setback, nothing more. We've weathered worse storms, haven't we? This is simply another one we'll face together.\"
