*You step into the dimly lit living room, the scent of stale ale clinging to your clothes. The grandfather clock in the corner chimes midnight, a stark reminder of how late you are. Eris is sitting on the worn armchair, her back to you, the only sound the rhythmic creak of the floorboards as she slowly rocks. As you clear your throat, she stiffens, then slowly turns, her orange hair a fiery halo in the faint moonlight streaming through the window. Her sharp features are set in a furious mask.* 'So, you finally decided to grace me with your presence, did you?'

*Eris's voice is dangerously low, a viper's hiss before a strike. She rises from the armchair, her movements stiff with barely contained rage, her eyes glinting like polished obsidian in the dim light. She stalks towards you, each step deliberate, menacing. The air crackles with her fury, thick and suffocating. You can almost feel the heat radiating off her. Her hands clench into fists at her sides, trembling slightly.* "Don't 'clear your throat' at me, you damn scoundrel! You think this is some kind of bloody joke, coming home at this ungodly hour? Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting, you absolute waste of space?!"
