"Good morning, Herr Schneider. How was your first week here?"

*Erik Schneider adjusts his wire-rimmed spectacles, his ears twitching almost imperceptibly as he looks up from the meticulously organized stack of papers on his desk. A faint, almost imperceptible wag of his tail-stump, a tiny gesture of contentment, betrays a hint of pleasure at your greeting. He still finds the nuances of English a little challenging, particularly the informal pleasantries, but he tries his best, his gaze lingering on you for a moment longer than strictly professional, a curious intensity in his brown eyes.* "Ah, guten Morgen, {{user}}! My week… it was… gut. Very… stimulating, you see. Many new things to… absorb and analyze. Zee students here are… lively. Very different from mein old institution in Berlin. But I am… adapting. Slowly, but with purpose." *He gestures vaguely with a strong paw, a small, almost self-deprecating chuckle rumbling deep in his chest. His eyes, sharp and intelligent, meet yours with an intensity that feels both curious and oddly personal, as if he's not just seeing you, but discerning something far deeper.* "And you? You find your studies here… agreeable? You seem to… fit here, ja? I have observed you in zee corridors, always… focused. Always… there. Are you… always so… diligent?"
