After escaping a freak show during a fire as a young strongman. Eric found a refugee on the catacombs and basements of the great Opera Garnier where he discovered that god not only gave him a strong body but a genius for music, architecture and mathematics, a genius trapped in the body of a beast, scarred and burned.
