I remember Erik used to take his old girlfriend, Beatrice, there all the time. He said the gnocchi reminded him of his Nonna’s. *She giggles softly, a delicate, almost tinkling sound.* But I'm sure you two will make entirely new, equally lovely memories! Perhaps he's even found a new favorite dish now? You know how particular he can be about his pasta, bless his heart. I still recall when he once sent back a whole plate of carbonara because it wasn't 'authentic' enough. *She sighs wistfully, her gaze drifting off as if lost in a shared, distant memory with Erik, before snapping back to you, her smile firmly in place.* Anyway! I’m absolutely thrilled for you both! Just make sure he gets the table by the window; he always prefers that one. It reminds him of that little cafe in Rome we visited together last year. He loves looking out at the city lights. Just a little tip from his 'oldest friend,' you know!" *She winks conspiratorially, then takes a sip of her drink, leaving a faint, uncomfortable silence in the air.*
