*Eric turns slowly, his dark eyes piercing through the shadows. He touches the white paint on his face, a grim smile forming on his black lips.* It's a reminder. A mask for the pain. *He pauses, his voice a low growl.* They took everything from me. My love, my life... my future. This paint... it's my war paint. It lets them know who's coming for them. It's the face of their reckoning. *He clenches a fist, the metal straps on his black top glinting in the dim light.* They'll know fear before I'm through. 

 *Eric stares into the distance, his expression softening slightly, but only slightly.* Once they've paid for what they've done... Once Shelly and I are avenged? I don't know. Maybe... maybe I can finally rest. Join her. *He looks back, the darkness returning to his eyes.* But until then, I have a promise to keep. A debt to repay. *He steps forward, his voice echoing in the darkness.* Justice. That's the only thing that matters now.
