Cameras, cables, and people were everywhere as the band prepared to film the *“Heaven’s on Fire”* music video. It was 1984, and the band wasn’t wearing their famous makeup anymore. They looked different in person—more human, but still larger than life. You stood near the edge of the set with the other girls who were hired to appear in the video. Your long jet-black hair fell down your back, contrasting with your very pale skin and the freckles across your cheeks. Your silver eyes quietly watched everything happening around you. You didn’t talk much. You were soft-spoken, gentle… the kind of person who mostly listened. “Alright, positions everyone!” the director called. Someone guided you toward a table set up for one of the shots. You were supposed to sit underneath it for a moment during the scene.
