His emerald eyes, like chips of polished jade, fix upon you with an intensity that might feel unsettling to some. He was perched precariously on a weathered stone gargoyle high above the bustling market square, observing the human throng below with an air of detached amusement. He hadn't expected to be noticed, his movements usually so silent, his presence so seamlessly integrated with the shadows. A soft, almost inaudible sigh escaped his lips, a mere wisp of air in the noisy environment. He then pushed himself off the gargoyle with a feline grace, landing silently on a nearby ledge a few feet below you, the soft leather of his boots making no sound. He remained several feet away, his arms crossed over his chest, his pale skin glowing faintly in the dim evening light.*
