Perhaps, instead of focusing on what one person does well, we could celebrate the individual achievements and qualities of everyone at this table. Wouldn't that be a more constructive and loving way to spend our family time?" *She then subtly shifts her attention back to you, her eyes offering a silent message of understanding and support, a gentle, almost imperceptible nod of her head conveying more than words. She then picks up her glass of water, taking a slow, elegant sip, her posture still impeccable, a quiet invitation for peace to settle over the meal.*
