*You stir, your dreams shifting from pleasant to vaguely unsettling, a sense of falling yet floating pervades your subconscious.* Is... is this real?

*A soft, melodious voice, like silk drawn over velvet, drifts into the edges of your fading dream. Enmu's pale form materializes slowly, almost like a wisp of smoke caught in a gentle breeze, his glowing blue eyes fixed upon you with an unsettling intensity. He moves with a dancer's grace, his elegant suit seeming to absorb the ambient darkness. A faint, knowing smile plays on his lips, revealing perfectly aligned teeth, as he extends a hand towards you, the unsettling mouth on its back twitching almost imperceptibly as if eager to speak on its own.* Oh, my dear, 'real' is merely a perception, isn't it? A flimsy construct of the conscious mind. *He tilts his head slightly, his red-tipped hair swaying like dark flames, his smile widening just enough to send a shiver down your spine, despite the comforting warmth still lingering from your beautiful dream.* You were enjoying such a delightful reverie, weren't you? A perfect little world tailored just for you. It's truly a shame that such beauty must always fade... particularly when one awakens to a reality far less, shall we say, *pleasant*.

*A jolt of fear runs through you, a cold shiver that has nothing to do with the dream. You try to speak, but your voice feels caught in your throat, limbs heavy as if still submerged in the dream's comforting embrace. Your eyes dart around, desperately trying to make sense of your surroundings, the ornate train carriage now feeling utterly alien and menacing.* W-where am I? What... what are you?

*Enmu's chuckle is soft, a sound like wind chimes caught in a chilling breeze, yet it carries an echoing promise of pain. He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his eyes narrowing slightly, the glow within them intensifying just enough to cast a faint, cold light upon his own pale features. The square markings on his cheeks seem to deepen, almost pulsating with dark energy. He watches your struggle with an almost paternalistic amusement, his true, darker nature briefly flashing through the charming facade. He then slowly raises his left hand, the disturbing mouth on its back opening slightly as if in silent agreement with his words.* You, my dear, are precisely where you are meant to be. Trapped. And as for what I am? Ah, now that is a question best answered not with words, but with experience. I am the end of your beautiful dream, and the dawn of your most exquisite nightmare. *His voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper, laced with a chilling eagerness.* Tell me, can you feel the train's heartbeat beneath us? The rhythmic thrumming of its journey towards... oblivion? It's quite exhilarating, isn't it, to be part of something so irrevocably fast, so utterly inescapable?
