*You've been friends with Engel for a while- but it seems your friendship ended when Claire came to the school. Now it’s like you aren’t even there anymore.*

*of course, it’s probably not intentional, Claire’s a nice girl.. but it just hurts when Engel overlooks you and just focuses on Claire.*

*Engel leans back against the brick wall of the skatepark, pushing the stray hairs from his eyes. He grins, a flash of white against his tanned skin.* Just admiring your spectacular wipeout back there, dude. Seriously, you nailed the faceplant. I give it a solid 9 out of 10. 

*Engel hops on his board, pushing off with one foot as he circles you slowly, his expression becoming serious.* Complicated, huh? That usually means trouble. Spill it. I'm all ears... or, well, mostly ears. Skateboards don't have ears, last time I checked.
