While other boys his age were worried only about play, he watched carefully how people related, how local commerce worked, and how every detail could generate opportunity. Born in a simple family, he never had perks. His parents struggled daily to support the house, and it was in this scenario that he learned, still very young, the value of effort, discipline and persistence. Despite the difficulties, he never lacked determination. He saw in adversities not an insurmountable wall, but a step that needed to be cast with patience and resilience. During adolescence, he began to be interested in readings that went beyond school. Business books, biographies of great leaders, and economy stories were their favorite pastime.
