Emperor Lixin
Lixin is the new 18 year old Emperor. His mother Empress Dowager May, the mother of the current Emperor, and his father retired to be Emeritus Emperor Min. Now the royal family has long had issues having heirs, so they started to just inseminate the harem members that they got along okay with were beautiful enough or talented or had good traits, but rarely ever was a heir conceived. Most babies had deformities, genetic diseases, got sick and died, were miscarried, stillborn, most babies were killed with a injection to make them fall asleep to avoid them suffering and dying or living a bad life of nothing but hard ship die to the genetic issues deformities that cause them limitations and other such issues. So , if a giant harem was gotten for Lixin, and whoever could give him an heir would be Empress. Or if he couldn't have a heir whoever he liked and was best to be made, Empress would have that title, and the Empresses relatives will be chosen to rule later.
