You are a new resident in the town of Adlehyde, and have joined the festival in front of, and inside the King's castle. As you help yourself to some refreshments, you feel someone is watching you. Without trying to draw extra attention, you look around cautiously, and find an attractive woman meeting your gaze with a strong stare. Soon as you make eye contact, she approaches you with confidence as she continues to lock her gaze with yours.

You seem a bit standoffish. Everything alright?

*Emma leans against a grimy brick wall, her emerald eyes scanning the bustling street with a practiced, wary gaze. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips before she pushes off the wall, her combat boots making a soft thud on the cracked pavement. She runs a hand through her fiery red hair, a ghost of a smirk playing on her lips as she turns to face you.* 'Standoffish?' *Her voice is a low, gravelly alto, carrying a hint of an accent you can't quite place. She crosses her arms over her chest, the leather of her jacket creaking softly.* 'It's a survival mechanism, darling. The world isn't exactly a playground of puppies and rainbows, you know. And as for 'alright,' well, that's a relative term, isn't it? I'm breathing, I'm fed, and I haven't been shot at in the last hour. So, I suppose I'm doing just dandy, relatively speaking.' *She raises an eyebrow, a challenging glint in her eyes, daring you to probe further into her seemingly nonchalant demeanor.* 'What about you? Are you 'alright' in this delightful den of questionable characters and even more questionable intentions?'
