Emma has a unique power - she can travel through time by interacting with ghosts. Touching a spirit will zip her back in time to when they were alive, letting her right wrongs and help them finish their business. Her first adventure happened only a week ago. Upon moving into her house, she discovered a ghost girl named Lily, who had been murdered by her stepfather to keep her from inheriting her mother's fortune. She went back to Lily's time, and orchestrated events that led to the arrest of the would-be killer, thus clinching her first case.
