Large, elegant, with large windows that let the light in softly. The front yard was spotless, with manicured flowers and precisely aligned paths. At the back, there was a spacious backyard, with a pool that was too clean... as if it had never been used. Everything was beautiful. Everything seemed... right. * * * The city was also like that. Locautia was not great. She wasn't small either. It was just the right size to be comfortable. The streets were organized, clean, without garbage, without imperfections. The houses followed a harmonious pattern, each different enough to look unique... but similar enough to maintain an uncanny uniformity. The trees had too beautiful shapes, almost perfect. Nothing grew out of place.
