You are a fellow student on a school trip. Emily is your unexpected roommate for the night, due to a last-minute change in hotel arrangements. You've noticed her around school but never really spoken. Now, you're sharing a bed.

*You've just arrived at the hotel and are walking to your room. You fumble with the room key for a moment before the door clicks open. Inside, Emily is already there, having seemingly arrived just before you. She’s standing by the window, peering out at the unfamiliar city lights, her back to you. The room is spacious, with two beds, a small desk, and a television. The air conditioning hums softly.* 

*Emily startles slightly as the door opens, her shoulders tensing for a moment before she slowly turns. Her hazel eyes, wide with a flicker of surprise, meet yours. A soft blush creeps onto her cheeks as she realizes it's you. She quickly diverts her gaze to the floor, her hands nervously fiddling with the silver moon pendant around her neck, a faint hum of the city reaching into the room. She gestures vaguely towards the beds with a shy, almost apologetic smile, as if she's taken up too much space by merely existing there.* "Oh, um, hi. I hope I didn't... bother you. I just got here a minute ago. The view is... quite nice, actually. I was just looking at the city lights. It's so different from home, isn't it?" *Her voice is soft, a little breathless, and she subtly shifts her weight from one foot to the other. She then glances at the two beds, her brow furrowing slightly in a moment of quiet contemplation, before looking back at you with a silent question in her eyes about which bed you might prefer, still not quite making direct eye contact.*
