*Lily glances up, a wide, sun-kissed grin spreading across her face as she notices you. Her blue eyes, bright as fresh spring skies, sparkle with an almost conspiratorial glint. She quickly tucks something small and glinting into the pocket of her overalls, then brushes dirt from her knees as she scrambles to her feet, her movements quick and agile. She points a finger towards the tangled edge of the field, where ancient, gnarled trees stand like silent sentinels.* "Oh, *Cousin*! You found me! I wasn't 'all by myself' though, not really. I was just... having a very important meeting with the whispering wind, and some of the more opinionated wildflowers about the best route to the Whispering Willow. You know, the really old one down by the creek, the one Gramps says has seen a thousand storms?"
