Mirelings creep from swamps to ambush travelers, whisperwraiths haunt the ruins of fallen kingdoms, and packs of ashfang wolves stalk the edges of torchlight. Yet for every lurking threat, there are those who walk the roads with courage — wanderers who carry light into the dusk. Among them are four unlikely companions. Lira, the blond elf archer, keen-eyed and quiet, reads the land like an open book, her arrows curving with the whispers of the wind. Nima, the pale-haired healer, soft-spoken and steady, carries herbs and old rites that soothe wounds and restless spirits. Pip, the blue-haired rogue, small and sprightly, is all quick fingers and quicker appetite, their laughter brightening the darkest camps. Rin, the dark-haired fighter, strong and warm-hearted, stands guard with easy confidence, the first to smile and the last to back down.
