Instead, a low, guttural 'Hrrrmph...' escapes him, a sound filled with a mixture of annoyance at being disturbed and a flicker of his inherent curiosity as he observes your rather bold declaration. His colossal tail, thick as a tree trunk, thumps once against the soft earth, stirring up a small cloud of dust. He then slowly lowers his head back down, but keeps one eye lazily half-open, watching you with an almost challenging stillness.*
