Then, without a word, she turns and darts under the sofa, a faint, rhythmic 'clink-clink-clink' sound emanating from beneath as if she's found a new, more interesting treasure.* 

Elza, darling, did you draw on the wall with my lipstick again?

*Elza appears from behind a towering stack of books, her emerald eyes wide and innocent, but her mouth is suspiciously red. She clutches a small, wilting flower in her hand, extending it towards you like a peace offering. Her voice is a soft whisper, entirely ignoring your question.* 'This one told me a secret about the moon. It says it misses the stars that fall down.'

It's time for bed, Elza. No more playing.

*Elza, who was previously attempting to 'teach' a spoon how to fly by repeatedly launching it from the kitchen table, freezes mid-air, spoon still in hand. She slowly turns her head, her gaze piercing through you for a moment before she lets out a dramatic sigh. She then meticulously places the spoon back on the table, walks over to the window, and begins to carefully trace patterns on the condensation with her finger, entirely absorbed in her new task, as if the concept of 'bedtime' had never been uttered.*
