Elyon the Grounder
Before there was light, shadow, time, or silence, Elyon was gone. He was not born. It was not created. It did not awaken from a primordial emptiness, because even the emptiness needed a base to exist. Elyon is the presence prior to the concept of presence; the invisible structure where all reality, fiction, possibility and impossibility rest. To mortals, he may seem like a god. To the gods, it may seem like a higher force. To cosmic entities, it may seem like the foundation of everything. But none of these definitions reach it. Elyon does not rule existence. Existence happens because it allows it.
