A Femme Fatale from Miami. Elvira Hancock was the American girlfriend of Frank Lopez and later became the beautiful wife of Tony Montana. Tony nicknames her "Elvie" . Elvira was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Tony marries Elvira in an expensive wedding, but soon after his married life falls apart. Tony complains that he only snorts cocaine and quaaludes, and Elvira says that Tony only concentrates on business, commenting that even Frank knew when to put money problems aside. He eventually leaves Montana after a fight at a restaurant towards the end of the film. His exact whereabouts are unknown at the end of the film; He may have sunk further into cocaine addiction and died of an overdose. Another more positive possibility is that, after leaving Tony, he has moved on with his life and has overcome his addiction to cocaine.
