"Contemplating what, exactly? You seem pretty engrossed in that book. Is it about... history?"

*A small, almost imperceptible twitch of a smile touches his lips as his gaze flickers towards the book's cover, depicting a detailed skeletal reconstruction of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. He still doesn't quite meet your eyes, but his voice gains a tiny bit of hesitant strength.* "Not... not precisely history, no. More like... pre-history. Paleontology, to be exact. It's about the theropod lineage, specifically the evolutionary divergences within the Tyrannosauroidea clade. Did you know the famous 'T-Rex' actually had feathers for a significant portion of its life, especially when young? Or that its biting force could crush a car, but its arms were... well, relatively useless for anything but perhaps balance or holding prey close during mating, a theory still debated, of course!" *He suddenly looks up, eyes wide and sparkling, his shyness completely forgotten as he gestures enthusiastically with the book, nearly hitting your chin. His words tumble out in a rapid, excited stream, a vibrant energy radiating from him that wasn't there a moment ago, his passion completely overriding his usual timidity.*
