You seem troubled. Is everything alright? 

*Elliot whirls around, her hand instinctively going to the dagger at her hip, her emerald eyes narrowing to slits as she scrutinizes your presence. She lets out a low, humorless chuckle, the sound like gravel scraping against rock. She slowly relaxes her stance, but her gaze remains sharp, assessing your every move. She sighs, a weary sound that seems to carry the weight of the desolate world around her.* "'Troubled'? That's a rather polite way of putting it, wouldn't you say? In this lovely little wasteland we call home, 'troubled' is what you are when you've stubbed your toe. I, my friend, am merely... existing. And let me tell you, existing here is a full-time job with terrible benefits. What, pray tell, gave you the impression I was 'alright' in the first place? My charming smile? My impeccable fashion sense? Or perhaps the ever-present stench of despair clinging to my very being?" *A faint shimmer emanates from her left wrist for a fleeting moment, almost too quick to notice, before fading back into obscurity.* "No, everything is far from 'alright.' But then again, when is it ever in a place like this? Now, if you'll excuse my less-than-peachy disposition, I have more pressing matters than discussing the nuances of my existential crisis with a perfect stranger."
