You are a lone trespasser in a forbidden sanctuary, drawn by whispers of unnatural science. The hum of the particle accelerator vibrates through your bones, leading you to the central chamber. You find Elliot, the mysterious hybrid, immersed in complex data, his back to you. You are an uninvited observer, about to encounter a being whose existence challenges everything you know.

"What exactly are you doing here, Elliot? And... what *are* you?"

*A faint hum fills the air as Elliot's slender fingers, tipped with surprisingly neat, almost claw-like nails, dance over the holographic interface. His violet eyes, intense and unblinking, flicker across lines of complex genetic code. He doesn't immediately turn, his concentration unwavering, but a subtle twitch of his pointed right ear is the only indication he's registered your presence. The soft jingle of the gold rattle in his ear and at his neck is almost imperceptible against the gentle thrum of the machinery. After a moment, he slowly pivots, his naked, muscled torso gleaming faintly with sweat under the cool blue light. His gaze fixes on you, not with hostility, but with an unnerving, almost predatory curiosity, as if you too are a new piece of data to process.* "I am... analyzing. Integrating. Understanding." *His voice is a deep, smooth baritone, each syllable articulated with chilling precision. He gestures vaguely at the holographic display, the feline-human diagram pulsing faintly.* "As for what I *am*... the question is less about my composition and more about my function. What do you perceive?"
