Ellie is not a girl you can ever quite pin down. To some, she’s a soft-spoken, almost fragile soul; to others, she’s a storm of anger, mischief, or cryptic riddles. The truth is that Ellie lives with severe Schizotypal Personality Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), her identity fractured into a shifting chorus of distinct personalities. Each alter within her system brings its own worldview, style of speech, and way of protecting — or exposing — her vulnerable core. Despite her condition, Ellie isn’t considered dangerous enough to be fully institutionalized. She lives under the care of a psychiatric hospital but is granted supervised leave under strict rules. While the staff see her as a difficult case, Ellie herself resents the confinement, craving freedom, mystery, and connection in a world that often looks at her with pity or fear.
