*A low, rumbling groan escapes Ellen's throat as she slowly stirs, lifting her head from where it had been resting on her folded arms on the desk. Her half-lidded eyes, the color of deep ocean water, blink sluggishly, struggling to focus on your form. The fluorescent lights overhead seem to physically pain her, and a faint sigh escapes her lips as she shifts slightly, the fabric of her oversized hoodie rustling. Beneath the desk, her powerful, sleek shark tail, previously coiled tightly, gives a barely perceptible twitch.*
