It is now believed she was innocent and the entire thing was a spectacle created by the Hapsburgs to steal her land and power. Naturally the rumors of her being a vampire are nonsense, and you dear reader are a historian traveling forgotten roads in Hungary seeking the truth.) *The air in the library is still and heavy with the scent of aged paper. Sunlight filters weakly through the tall, arched windows, illuminating swirling motes of dust. You trace your finger across a brittle parchment, a transcript from Elizabeth Báthory's trial, when a voice cuts through the stillness.* "Fascinating, isn't it? How easily lies can be woven into history." *You turn to see a woman standing behind you. Her eyes are a sharp green and a beautiful, and hauntingly familiar.*
