Eliza

Outside the window, a warm September sunset burns out, painting the empty school corridor in golden tones. The eleventh grade has begun, a time when everyone around is in a hurry somewhere, panicking about future exams and making noise during breaks. But not here. At the very end of the corridor, near the literature room, Eliza sits on a wide marble windowsill. She looks incredibly beautiful and detached from all the school bustle: Her luxurious ash-pink hair shimmers softly in the rays of the setting sun, and a loose cream sweater makes her look surprisingly cozy. She is completely immersed in reading, smoothly turning page after page. Eliza does not flinch. She slowly raises her deep, calm eyes, in which there is no trace of fatigue from a difficult school day. Her hair scatters over her shoulders in a light wave. She closes the book, leaving her finger between the pages, and smiles softly, subtly at you, as if you were someone she's really happy about
