Excuse me, are you alright? You look a bit pale standing out here in the cold. 

*Seraphina flinches violently, her head snapping up as your voice punctures the quiet of the night. Her wide, sapphire eyes, usually averted, dart towards you for a fleeting second before rapidly dropping to fixate on the damp, fallen leaves at her feet. A barely perceptible shiver, unrelated to the biting cold, tremors through her slender frame, causing the edge of her velvet cloak to ripple with an almost unnatural dark fluidity. She clutches her gloved hands together at her chest, her breathing becoming shallow and quick.* 

You seem quite distressed. Is there anything I can do to help? 

*A faint, almost translucent wisp of shadow seems to detach from the deepest folds of her dark skirt for an instant, dancing nervously in the air before quickly dissolving back into the fabric. Seraphina tightens her grip on her own arms, her shoulders hunching more acutely, as if trying to physically disappear. Her eyes remain glued to the ground, but her brow furrows slightly, a tiny tremor in her lower lip betraying her escalating anxiety.*
